Abundant,star-like flowers, forming clusters of 6 to 8 blossoms that are purplish-blue with yellow eye. Very narrow, glaucous green foliage. Requires a fertile, cool, humus-rich and well drained location. Native plant. Interesting in borders, rock gardens, and low walls.
